Melanoma is one of the dangerous types of skin cancer. It can be fatal if not treated at an early stage. Melanomas are generally similar to moles, and sometimes even caused by moles. Although they are mostly black and brown, they can sometimes be  pink, red, purple, blue even white colored. It is mostly seen on the chest and back in men and on the legs in women. In addition, they can develop in the neck, face, eyes, mouth, genital area and anal region. Although it is more common in adults, it can also be found in children. The reason is mostly genetic. However, factors such as the harmful rays of the sun, solarium, and fair skin color can also trigger melanoma. The most important symptoms; They are asymmetrical moles or lesions with unclear borders and different colors.
